Lovely spot that is kid friendly, with decent prices. I loved the turkey and swiss croissant sd well as the ricotta toast. Skip the slushy mint lemonade, doesn't have much taste. Staff are super friendly! Try it out

Whenever my daughter comes home to visit her first stop is for an iced latte with oat milk! Why ? Because Cafe Angelique has the best tasting coffee and they're the only restaurant with the oat milk she likes. The lentil soup I order a few times a week. No other restaurants in the area can hold a candle to there's. It's perfectly spiced not overly salted and very fresh. The humus is heaven real real Israeli style and the warm pita is the best pita I've ever eaten and I grew up eating a lot of pita in my Sephardic neighborhood. I'd love some chicken breast entrees on the menu because that's my go to and families protein. ONE IMPROVEMENT - When ordering from Ubereats or an APP the restaurant should but drinks and food in a sealed bag.

I have always enjoyed my lunch here and the old train station is adorable. I don't find the chairs very comfortable but that may just be a personal thing. Fun luncheon spot!

A nice cafe I come to when I visit home and my folks. Situated in the Historic Tenafly Railway station, the young servers are very friendly with a great attitude. They have a wall up coffee bar with pastries and a sit down cafe I had lunch this time and the vegetarian sandwich (I added Mozzarella) was very nicely done - god whole grain bread, eggplant, zucchini but well cooked (the eggplant being soft the zucchini lightly done to hold its crunch - plus avo and pesto My mom's omelette looked pretty good and she was happy. The prices aren't cheap $45 for two entrees and a cap and a tea, but pretty much on par with 2023...

Long time ago no order here Today I was craving for a Shakshuka. A few years ago I was working in a place in which we bake Shakshukas but I never tried them . And today finally I did it. I ate a few times in Café Angelique and I know that they have great quality on foods and Customer Service. So I decided to place an order here. I ordered a Shakshuka , Americano coffee and a croissant . I was surprised that Shakshuka has three poached eggs... oh, My!!! You can share with your husband, though! The coffee was excellent and also the croissant. Where I was born ( Monterrey , NL. Mexico) we have a recipe similar like Shakshuka called " huevos rancheros en salsa". Both are Great!!! Thank You For Everything, Cafe Angelique...! God bless you

Visited Cafe Angelique for brunch on a Sunday. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Their indoor seating section was Tenafly's former train station, and it still kinda looks like it. We were seated quickly and our drink orders were taken. My latte was well made, with pretty latte art. The food took awhile to prepare, but my shakshouka was delicious. It was 3 eggs poached in a thick, tangy, and slightly spicy tomato sauce, served with pita bread. I also got feta and sausage to make the dish even heartier. My girlfriend got the mallawach sambusak, which had a nice flaky crust, but we could have honestly just split the hearty shakshouka. Definitely my favorite shakshouka so far.

I have been have many times over the last 6 years or so for dine is and to go. The last visit I had the service was really good but all other times the service was slow and I had to hunt them down. The location is great, indoor and outdoor seating, plenty if parking, and the coffee, food, and cakes are good. The two times I did het the pastries (danish with fruit) they tasted old. I still with the food, cafe, and cakes now.
